Blessed with incredible bio-diversity, many scientists consider Western Ghats a NATURAL WONDER of Planet Earth!
Western Ghats are so unique, that many species are found only in these ancient ranges!
Like this beautiful MARBLED RAMANELLA, scientific name Uperodon mormorata! Its extremely shy and extremely rare to spot!
So far, we have only ever spotted him in 3 locations in Western Ghats!
His beautiful stone like markings make him indistinguishable from the forest floor, where he lives!
Measuring a little more than 2cms, he is small! Very small! But his continued survival chances should not be small!
Many humans want to preserve nature! It is our collective right to observe, learn and benefit from the many species which have existed for billions of years!

Part 2: GOA SUBSIDY ENDING- COST DOUBLING!!
I read in the papers that I should go solar. But how many kW do I need for my bill?
A 9.72 kW solar, also called the 10KW system, will give you about 1166 units per month!
How much will it be? 10KW sounds like it will cost a lot!
In Goa, it costs between Rs. 5.3 Lakhs to Rs. 6 Lakhs. But SolarCat is installing for just Rs. 4.89 Lakhs!
Maybe we should wait a little longer and let SolarCat reduce the price more?
Prices may reduce in the future. But subsidy is ending in 100 days and you will end up paying DOUBLE!
Goa state subsidy scheme officially ends on 31st March 2026! In reality, it means your installation should be over by 31st Jan 2026!
If you delay more, your final price, after subsidy, will go up from Rs. 1.98 Lakhs to Rs. 4.11 Lakhs! Or nearly DOUBLE!!!
So hurry! Unless you want to pay DOUBLE for the same plant!
